Maytag MDB4949SDM3 no wash

This Maytag MDB4949SDM3 has been installed since February 2017 (yes, that's right, it's just barely out of warranty - the highly touted 10 year warranty applies to the tub, chopper !) Apparently the washer pump failed partway through the cycle while I slept last night. My detergent pack was partially dissolved and my dishes were partially washed. Setting it for a "rinse" cycle this morning to test it, the clock starts counting down from 7 minutes, the supply valve opens and lets water in, and then it sits silent for about 5 minutes, and then with 2 minutes left on the clock, the drain pump kicks on and drains the tub. No error messages are displaying and there's no feedback from the control system that there's a problem (no beeps or anything.) It would seem the washer pump just doesn't turn on after the tub fills with water. Since I had to leave the house and come to work, I didn't have a chance to do much troubleshooting - i.e., haven't had a chance to kill the power for a minute to "reboot" it. What should my next troubleshooting steps be? Checking the chopper blade for something jammed in it?

Need to check voltage going to the wash pump. This can be done at the board at the 2 light blue wires on plug 5  Turn unit on and let it fill. Have meter leads connected to the wires and see what voltage reading is when the pump should be running.

Sometimes you get lucky. I pulled the door panel off and tested the resistance across the motor wiring harness and got a good solid 6 ohms. That's outside the appropriate range. But, I figured while I'm at it, I'll power the unit up and run a rinse just to double check I'm getting 120v from the logic board when the pump's supposed to be running. Plugged the pump back in and started a rinse. Amazingly, after filling, the pump powered up, and I confirmed 120VAC on the pump connector. I think perhaps the pump's power lead was just a bit loose...opening and closing the dishwasher door apparently vibrated it just loose enough not to work. I'm still troubled by that 6ohms on the pump though. We'll see how long she stays fixed.
