Dacor RSD30s range/ convection fan removal

Dacor Rds30s convection fan removal.

 

replacing last of the oven burners of which came with a fan that sits in the center of the burner on the back wall of the oven.

problem being is the fan is held on with a nut & no leverage is available to hold the spinning shaft.

 

how is this normally done?

Not familiar wiht that exact one, but  i unually hold the fan blade

Did that, I was assuming the nut comes off counterclockwise?

 

i added blaster some heat as holding blade no longer worked.

  Not sure on direction. If yo uhave replacement motor look at the threads.

 Some are CW to come off

If I could find out the thread size, direction tap & die set is missing somewhere?

 

installing new oven elements last one was the round one around the convection fan the new burner element came with a new fan blade washer & nut.

so I thought it could be removed, I do believe it did unscrew somewhat just not sure how far.

so I am heating nut giving it a little blaster, periods of heating cooling.

the heat hopefully allowing oil to be drawn to threads!

I think maybe the circlip that fell out when I was unthreading the nut was what was holding the fan blade in the proper location.

so maybe if I can fit it back in place? There is not much room there?

Bought spare motor fan assembly & threads are backwards or to the right removes nut!

Well lucky I could buy a spare motor ebay, that has all working parts so I could see how it works.

the clip that is on inside of fan blade was ruined by turning nut wrong way.

spare unit I got had one so that should go back together.

awaiting igniters for top burners.
