      All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological. 
      We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
      Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!

Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I need to go work on my first dual evap frigerator tomorrow. I found some  service bulletins about bad door gaskets, but no manual. They say this thing, "isn't cooling as well now. it made a loud noise for a while several days ago" which sounds to me like it could be a defrost issue?

QUESTION: how come a lot of times I see a bulletin posted twice in a row. Is it a different format or what's going on? I've tried to open / download both and they seem identical to me.

As for your question about bulletin duplicates -- sometimes manufacturers will release updated versions of bulletins that are only very slightly different from the older versions, and we end up with both versions on the site. That might explain some of the duplicates you're seeing.
