Miele H4080BM Microwave Not Working - Other Oven Features Work

I removed the front glass panel of our Miele H4080BM to clean the glass. The door assembly (including door switch posts and seals) and hinges were untouched. After replacing the glass panel, the oven will not heat in microwave mode. The lights, display and timer all work. It is a combination oven and the bake function still works. I switched off the breaker for several hours and I reset settings to default but the problem persists.  I have trouble believing that something has failed coincident with the door cleaning, so I'm looking for any suggestions before pursuing a more significant part failure.

Thanks for any help!

When you take the glass off you are flexing the door. If the door switches are not properly activated it will blow an internal fuse. You’ll have to shut off the power, pull the unit out of the wall and find the fuse on the circuit board. Test it for continuity. If it’s open replace it, before starting the microwave again make sure the door latches are contacting the switches properly when the door closes and the glass panel is properly installed.

Thanks. I called Miele. They ran diagnostics. Fuse and/or door sensors. Guy didn't want to pull it without the parts on hand. Hard to believe it's this sensitive.

Sounds like all pretty standard stuff, odd he didn’t have it on hand.. was this just over th phone?

Of course could be a odd part.. I’m not there.

It’s a specific fuse and the switch assembly needs to be replaced as a complete assembly.

The other thing I didn't mention is that the technician asked my wife, "Didn't they (Miele) ask you how tall your microwave is? I need a cart and another guy to pull it." So, I imagine he could have been more certain of the diagnosis if he had access, but he still would have needed the parts.
