Kenmore washing machine

My Kenmore model 110.92272100 washing machine began leaking yesterday.  Took a look and found that, where the water intake came in, the screens had a lot of mud-like debris in them (we have had a well source for our water for 25 years and this is par for the course for all screens in the house occasionally).  I cleared them out and ran a load on warm.  The water poured in just fine.  No leakage from anywhere until midway during the rinse cycle.  When the cycle was on the rinse, then there was low flow into the tub.  And, there was a small amount of leakage down the back of the washer that started right when this cycle began.

As a lifetime member, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the wealth of your experience. 

I'm ready to hit the parts store!

one more thing I just noticed:  the machine was stuck on the rinse mode when I just checked.  I moved past it to spin to finish.  Maybe about a cup or two of water on the floor.  Not much.

Hard water will wear on water valves, washer, dishwasher, ref , also that's an older washer like mine the rubber hoses in unit will dry out, harden and crack, not sealing good. Have to spot the leak, it could be leaking on one side and coming out the other, don't know with water, it finds it's way.

so, do I have to remove the back panel to see where the leak(s) are?

No, front cabinet/top are removed to gain access to all internal parts, need to jump out lid switch. Watch video posted on disassembly
