whirlpool duet washer

1 post in this topic

1 year old duet, transported from texas to Alaska, approximately 1 month in transit-hoses removed, shipping bolts installed. I removed bolts, installed hoses,,, sounds like small cessna in spin. My guess is bearings shot, unless there is something else installed for transit I don't know about. Any ideas?  Is this commen for Duets? I've seen very few of them so far. Your help humbly desired.  JR     PS-I  have determined noise is from motor-oxidized brushes? Is this common? What would happen if I shot some wd-40 in there?
