All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Frigidaire SxS manual needed please.

Recommended Posts

Manufacturer: Frigidaire
Type of Appliance: Sxs frig
Model Number: FFSS2615TPO
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I can find a 2622 number,  but I need a 2615. I hate to waste your time. Is there any good way for me to know whether the other manual will work, when I haven't even seen the appliance yet?

And as far as dumb, useless, unhelpful search titles: I understand we want these requests to be beneficial for  future searchers. So does the model number need to be in the title? Because there is another line for that model number; yet that''s different than the actual "title" line. So I don't understand the manner these things will show up on future searches?

Is it better to have a model number on the title line or does it not matter?

Thank you Samurai.

When I didn't see a reply, I wondered wht and started to remember that notification but I could not find it.  Am I the only dummy that does this, and would it save trouble if there was a notice/reminder on the manual request page?

No worries! We’ve been out of town all week so things are bit delayed. Heading home today (flight delayed TWICE— gonna be a late one with lots of quality time stuck in an airport). Things will return to normal soon. Thanks for your patience.
