All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, March 30 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. The tech sheet is in the downloads already -- you've just got to search with the Kenmore prefix removed and replaced with an asterisk, as shown in this video:

Well, that's the only one that Whirlpool has for your exact model number. You can try this one -- it applies to a very similar model number.

Yes this is close but no cigar, I have a tech in San Antonio that has this fridge and the ice maker isn’t working. The optic board had a few wires in the connector that had pulled out. (No idea how) the diagrams I have, have not shown the correct diagram for the emitter and receiver board. In fact they haven’t show it all. Just a bucket switch which isn’t correct. This one has the optics in door with the ice maker up top in the door as well.

@NathanC -- the file that Brother Rhubarb Tau just linked to is the same one I told you to search the site for in my original post. It looks like it does have both an emitter and a receiver board in the schematic. Does the wiring it shows not match up with what you're seeing on the actual appliance?

Jesus!! Not only am I stupid and can't not read, but apparently blind. My bad this is what you get for looking over things to quickly. I did not see the remove Kenmore prefix. I've been using this site for three years. I guess every now and then we just forget. Got fixed with new harness, but need diagram to repair the wires to test to ensure correct diag.
