Manufacturer: Samsung
Type of Appliance: French door fridge
Model Number: RFG296HDRS
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I did the Wild Card search and even expanded out from files into everything else. Are there any Tech sheets or manuals for this please? I can find 295 and 297... but no 296. Customer says the ice in the door is not working. Thank you!

There's a service manual for exactly your model in the Downloads -- search the Files section like this: RFG296HD*

Your manual should be the first result.

I apologize for messing this up Sam.  I started with the full number,  and then did something like RFG*  to expand the search wider than RFG296HDR*

Is that unworkable in the search system? Or did I just somehow miss the one I was looking for?  At any rate, many thanks. Kevin

No worries! The best way to use the wildcard is to strip off characters one or two at a time. You'd start with the full number, and if that doesn't pull up what you need, you would try RFG296HDR*, then RFG296HD*, then RFG296H*, etc.

And be sure you’re searching just the Files section of the site and not the entire site or else you’ll get a lot of other results that don’t have the file you’re looking for.
