LG Washer WT4801CW Squeaky Noise

My LG WT4801CW washer is making a squeaking noise. I am wondering if it might be the clutch assembly. Looks like there may be a leak at the bottom as well.... so I'm leaning towards that being the issue unfortunately. Would like to get opinions before ordering the part.
Here are examples of the sound, one by hand and one with washer starting a rinse and spin cycle.
Note that towards the end of the 2nd video, there is a slow down in the spin when it's making the noise... like a drag

Could be the washer driveshaft and shifter assembly. Part number AEN73131403. This unit is direct drive and I’ve seen where play in the assembly will cause the rotor to scrape the stator and cause a similar sound.  Can you unplug the unit, tip it back against the wall so you can get underneath and spin the rotor to see if that is the source of the noise?  K170 in the diagram.

I'm not able to access k170 without removing everything below it first. I was going to remove the cover of the tub assembly and have a look and maybe take out the tub since i would have to anyways and now i'm having to deal with a couple of corroded screws.

You should be able to spin the rotor (k201) on the bottom of the tub and feel it for side to side play. Or just pull the rotor off and look for signs of scraping. You shouldn’t have to disassemble anything to check.

Sounds like AEN73131403 needs replacement...

That's exactly what it was. Changed it out today and seems to be running smooth. Thanks!

Good stuff! Happy to help!
