This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Hi Everyone

I recently purchased this GE Washer . Used it for about 20 loads. Did 2  loads this morning(no issues) and on the 3rd load the tub stopped filling with water. My process is that I lift the lid and the machine wakes up and I close the lid . I then  press the start button and it would normally give a squirt and pause then another squirt and pause and  then on the third time I would hear a click noise and it will fill. no issues. assuming the sensors are doing their job

This morning as I was doing the  load on the 3rd squirt no water would come out. Just a hum and the lid locked .  I thought I heard a loud noise this morning on the 3rd squirt and that when the lid locked .I was able to unlock the lid and start over but now what I am experiencing is that on the 3rd squirt water would come out for about 5 seconds and then shut off . if I open the lid and close it and press the start then it will start filling and shut off in about 5 seconds.

I check the hoses and water was blasting out . I didn't notice any debris on the inlet screens.

I am able to turn dial and to drain & spin and it drains the water out and spins

I haven't opened up the control panel but from what I can see i would need to two 1/4 hex head screws on each side and then pop it off the metal bracket.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Wayne
