Samsung Dryer Shuts Off After 2 Minutes

Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung dryer model: DV42H5400 that shuts off after 2 minutes on a sensor setting. Manual settings are fine and continue to dry.

So far I have tested and/or replaces the following:
1. Thermostat and temperature fuses - replaced, the issue still persists.
2. Removed the duct, cleaned, and tested the dryer without the duct being attached - it still shuts off after 2 minutes.
3. Placed it in Smart Install Mode and checked the moisture sensors with a wet wipe and they were fine. I also checked them for continuity and that was fine.
4. In Smart Mode, I checked the motor and heater and the OK message was shown. I checked for continuity and that was fine too.

What am I missing? Everything I've seen online so far is either the thermostat, temp fuse, or moisture sensors.

Thermistor for temps.

Try running the dryer with the vent disconnected and see if that corrects the problem.

Depending on if the sensor bars are on the front or rear bulkhead, lean the dryer a little in that direction, (IE: if the sensor is in the front make sure the front is just slightly lower than the rear so that the clothing will tumble towards the sensor bars).

Any update on your problem?  My wife just informed me that our 10 year old Samsung gas dryer is finishing with the clothes still slightly damp.  Vents are okay, and in diag mode the moisture sensor counter increments when drying a moistened towel.

Try it with vent disconnected. Also check lint screen. Run water through it. If it pools up and doesn’t flow through screens clean with dish soap, water and a brush. Until water flows through the screen. 
 

Damp clothes is generally an airflow problem.

Everything is clean and clear.  I'm seeing counts from the moisture sensor.  Sounds like the gas valve isn't being energized.

Damp clothes is generally an airflow problem. 

It was the solenoids on the gas valve.  All fixed now.
