SAMSUNG WASHER WF501ANWXAA 01 - ERROR CODE 8E2

I've searched all over the google and this forum and can't seem to find info on this..

I keep getting an 8E2 Error code on my machine and can't seem to find a good consensus on what it actually means.

SAMSUNG WASHER WF501ANWXAA 01 - ERROR CODE 8E2 - Basically the washer will stop and beep but then eventually start back up.  The start up time is sometimes just a few seconds to longer.  I go give it a whack on the top and sometimes it starts it up but that could just be coincidence?

Anyway, TIA

That error points to the MEMS sensor having to do with vibration. Make sure the machine is level and the load is large enough to balance. If the sensor tests within spec check the harness for continuity and connectors for damage. Samsung said that the wire harness can break internally, causing intermittent continuity depending on where its flexed.

Thanks, that was one of the possible causes that I saw online and ordered one just to have it ready if that was the case.  I'll check the sensor connection and see what I can find out.
