hello, im working on a GE GSHL5KGXCCLS. it stopped cooling. i found a bad power resistor on control board WR55X10942. replaced control board with what i thought was a EBX1069P005.come to find out that i was sold a GEA6964112164183. i have installed it but its been 4 hours now and the compressor still has not cycled on. and there is a faint buzzing sound coming from board. also there is a two prong pin that my original board did not have, so unsure if i needed to use a jumper on that or if they just sold me a bad or incompatible control board.. i just didnt want to have to pay $230. for an original board. any thoughts and incites to situation would greatly be appreciated..

Looks like wr55x10942 is about $100 to $160 on ebay. There is even a rebuild kits for $17 to $21. Your third part number didn't come up with  google search.

When you google that number it shows wr55x10968. From what out on the net wr55x10968 doesn't cross to a wr55x10942.

thank you so much... i was thinking that might be the case.. sending back to seller.. the only damage i could see on my old board was that the two thru board power resistors were getting hot and one had popped loose from board..  should i try my luck buying new resistors or just buy a compatible board with a warranty . thank you again for looking up help and responding so fast.
