If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

KitchenAid koce500ess06 f1e5 error still occurring after several parts replaced

Recommended Posts

I have a KitchenAid Microwave/Oven combo unit that is 2 years old and producing the F1 E5 MW Inverter Not Responding error.
At first the error would appear after 8 seconds of use.
I replaced the inverter board, 2 door switches and the magnetron.  The magnetron was burned at the end that protrudes out from the part.
After replacing these three parts, the microwave will run for 15 - 45 seconds then display the same F1 E5 error.
I'm looking for guidance on what to look at next. Possibly the microwave appliance manager board? - W10915648
This will be my third time pulling the appliance out of the cabinet...ugh.
I have read that some people suggested clearing error codes but not sure that is possible on this unit.
Thank you,

Mike, did you follow the questionnaire guidelines? I'm just reading your post and want to ask did the problem get resolved? What was the final outcome?

Was this solved? I am going to a job this week with the same error?

Thanks!
