Kenmore top load washer model 110 26432501 won't spin at high speed

Everything about this washer works fine except it leaves clothes wet because it won't kick into high on the spin cycle. It finishes up  the cycle by spinning merrily along at low speed- no grinding, wobbling, noises, debris on floor, etc. I took it apart and checked the coupler and jumped the lid switch so I can run it. It does the same without the tub so nothing jammed in there. I can't hold the tub back so the clutch must be good. I checked the centrifugal switch on the motor and it's good. After much searching I haven't found a wiring diagram that's much help. Any help with this would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

This washer is just a 1 speed.  Depending on the age when it first goes into spin it should be neutral. The basket won't spin and all the water will be pumped out. The timer will pause the motor and the transmission should shift into spin.  One typical failure of this transmission is it will go into spin first. This cause the basket to spin full of water which is really slow then at the shift pause the transmission goes into neutral. May want to observe the whole spin cycle to see if your transmission is doing this failure.
