Whirlpool side by side fridge not cooling some days

My whirlpool side by side fridge Model number GI5FSAXVY00 stops cooling ( both main section and freezer ). It automatically starts working without any intervention, its happened twice already. When this happens, the fridge is powered on. I can hear the fan running and all the lights are on. I hear a frequent clicking sound (like a thermostat) near the bottom of the fridge. I had hired a technician to look at this issue but unfortunately the fridge started to work automatically (after 36 hours of being warm) when he was around. He checked the compressor and mentioned it was a bit hot, there was no freon leak. He couldn't check anything else and left. After around 8 hours I see the same problem, temperature is going up.

If the clicking noise is every 3 to 5 minutes it is likely the compressor start relay going bad or possibly a compressor issue. When it stops cooling check to see if the compressor is running.  Part number for the relay is WPW10197428

Thanks for the reply Vance. I can hear the constant fan noise, but can't figure out if the compressor is running. If the compressor is bad or the start relay goes bad, can it recover automatically since it recovered twice for me. Now it's been almost 24 hours and the fridge is still not cooling. I hear the click noise every 2-3 minutes. Sometimes it's more frequent.
