dishwasher leak repair

I have a fridgedaire dishwasher that seems to have a slight leak in the main tub on the bottom. It runs fine, but it has a slow drip on the bottom side of the main tub. For now, I am simply putting a small empty bowl under it before each wash load to catch the water. I then simply empty it after each load.

I got under it and saw the hole. Its basically a small pin hole leak and was wondering if I could simply use some sort of glue and/or epoxy. It only drips when the dishwasher runs so I know its not in any of the pressurized water lines.

As cheesy as this sounds - flex seal. Next would be marine epoxy.

Yes, it was cheesy, but Flex Seal actually worked great. We actually had some so I applied about 4 coats to the underside (over about 5 days).

I also realized where it was coming from. The inside heating element had started to get too close to the tub and was melting it. I therefore fixed it and then applied some Flex Seal on the inside area where the melting occured and the hole had developed. All has been good so far and no more leaking.
