All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:

Frigidaire induction range model KSIB900ESS1

I have a Frigidaire induction range. I was getting an overheat error code on the front large right burner and the burner would shut off, and then I was able to switch over to the front left burner and it would work and that would shut off. I ran the diagnostics on the Range. There were 12 faults for holding the button too long. I cleared the faults the problem did not change. I ran the automatic diagnostics and it showed two errors and no faults. One error was the lower drawer element wiring position or element and the second error was oven light / triac. The tech manual after all the diagnostics I had number two of the three faults listed which indicated a bad induction control board. I replaced the main circuit board and the user interface, and after that was installed it introduced faults that were not there. Now, I get an error code that the pan is not recognized on the two left burners, however the other fault where the burners were shutting off on the right side has disappeared and those burners are now working. I sent the boards back under warranty assuming that the board was bad, installed the new board, and still have the same problem. The problem on the right side is no longer existent both burners work however the burners on the left side I get the not recognizing the pan error code. If I don't put a pan on the back left burner the burner will work, and if I put a pan on the back left burner I then get the error code not recognizing the pan. On the front burner I get an error code that it's not recognizing the pan whether there's a pan on there or there's no pan on there. My thought is that both sensor elements on the two left burners are bad. Has anyone experienced anything like this before.
