If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Bosch Nexxt 500 Washer Model # WFMC3301UC/03 buzzes but won't start

Just replaced the hot water inlet valve and the door seal.  This required pulling the control panel and front panel and unscrewing the door latch mechanism.  Just re-assembled and tested machine.  When turning on and pressing start, door lock mechanism buzzes 3 times and then beeps but won't start.  Unplugged, removed door latch\lock mechanism, removed and replugged plugs, looked for broken wires but nada.  I checked the emergency unlock cable, moved the lock mechanism with a small screwdriver, etc.  but same result.  Door closes and latches but after turning machine on, selecting a cycle and hitting start, door mechanism buzzes 3 times.   Error code E01 has come up during testing but I believe that was a result of trying the latch.  Buzzing 3 times and then beeping???  Failed unit or am I doing something wrong?

Check the resistance of the inlet valve you just installed, it should ohm out at between 2.7-4.5 k ohms. If it passes, plug in the unit and power it up. Start a load and check voltage from the board to the inlet valve. Make sure it’s getting the 120 vac. E01 error codes on Bosch’s are usually the door latch error which you spoke of. So check those two things and let me know what you get..

Voltages are good.  Got it into test mode (press two buttons closest to selector and turn selector to perm press cold).  Looks like the door latch mechanism is faulted.

When hitting start in test mode, door lock buzzes 3 times and won't lock thus machine won't start.
