otologic
My Bosch Axxis won't start. Door opens and closes fine. I fill up the machine and close the door and the start light won't go solid red or even blink. If I press it will blink. Please help and send a PM with the service manual or take apart guide. Team Samurai Samurai Appliance Repair Man Posted June 5, 2010 Team Samurai Share Posted June 5, 2010 Not much info on this one.Assuming child lock is not activated. Need some error codes, see if this works for retrieving them:Rotate selector switch to Off position. Press & hold Menu & Select buttons (located under display), then rotate selector switch ccw to Permanent Press Cold until display comes on. With T1 on the display press "start". Write down all error codes and the number of times they are listed as 7 - Er: 1 where in this case the 7 is the number of times and the Er: 1 is the error code. Scroll thu the list using the menu button. After you get all the codes turn it off and post the codes and number of times. ignore all codes that have a 0 for the number of errors and that is a no error found. otologic
The Bosch was20160uc doesn't have menu or select buttons. I think that is for the next model up. Also, their is no info on a child lock in the user manual. I tried turning off the circuit breaker, waiting a long time and then turning it back on - unfortunately didn't help. Here is a image from google search of mine. I really hope you can find a repair manual for this 'cause I've searched all over and can't! Thanks you soooo much!http://images.krillion.com/static/images/products/washing_machines/bosch/bosch_washing_machines_was20160uc_lg.jpg
Team Samurai Samurai Appliance Repair Man Posted June 6, 2010 Team Samurai Share Posted June 6, 2010 Okay, let's try to find the tech sheet cleverly hidden from owners inside the machine. The usual haunts are behind the bottom kickpanels and underneath the top panel. Once you find it it, fax it to me at 866-315-4504.
otologic
OK, I'll take a look. Might be a while as it has the dryer stacked on top so I'll need a buddy to help me get the thing apart. Do you have any take apart instructions for other Bosch models? Just wondering if the kick plate or top take apart instructions are the same. THANKS!
