Hi,

My hot water heater stopped making hot water.

I can see that the igniter is lighting the pilot and it burns for about a minute,
then shuts off.

After a few more minutes, it comes on again, but the burner never ignites.

This is one of those 75 gallon power vent units with electronic ignition.

Does it sound like the gas valve assembly?

I'm also noticing water in the drain pan, so I must have a leak too.

Maybe that's what caused the problem in the first place.

Thanks in advance.

Bruce
