My problem is that I'm not able to post in the General Appliance Repair Topics forum. It says Apprentices can't post... but I'm a subscribed "Professional Appliantologist", so, I don't think I'm an apprentice? What am I missing here? DurhamAppliance Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) To post in the General forum, you must post in one of the subforums... ie household electrical, plumbing etc. Only mods can post in the main general forum. This keeps that forum from being a "dumping ground." If your question pertains to laundry or kitchen appliances, post in those forums. If your question is not model specific, simply create a topic similar to this... "Great method of cleaning any oven including model je123xyz." That way you have a general post but it follows the model number in the title protocol and would not be deleted.As a professional appliantologist, you are allowed to post such general questions or info in the Dojo forum. Model numbers are not required. That forum is used primarily for tech to tech discussions. If I have not answered your question, simply tell me or pm me the subject of your thread and I can suggest the proper forum.If not appliance related, you can also post in the 40 watt club forum.
