Listen in on Samurai Appliance Repair Man and Mrs. Samurai having an honest discussion on the pros and cons of using social media, like Facebook and Twitter, as a venue for promoting a business. I don't like (or get) Fakebook either, when I try to "like" something - I am prompted for my Fakebook login password and then it just pastes whatever I was looking at onto my running scroll of activity, is that what it means to like something??

I "liken" (if you'll pardon the pun) Fakebook unto Romper Room. It's an uber-controlled environment where Big Brother is watching and recording everything you do. Creeps me out a bit.

Mrs. Samurai, OTOH, actually likes it. She does most of the posts and interactions at our Fakebook page.

I can't believe some of the things folks will actually post there for all to see !

I know! Many people are tragically, sometimes fatally naive when they should be on guard, yet inappropriately suspicious when they should be trusting.
