If I charged these prices my customers would not get there appliances fixed.

You can't just "charge these prices. ". You have to have the service that goes with it. For example, same day/next day service, always have a human answer the phone, one-year guarantee on all work, 110% moneyback guarantee, etc.

Do these get updated for inflation? Not worth much tp be using a dusty old pricing guide

 

Edit: I ordered this to see and yes it gets regular updates, but IMHO almost useless aside from maybe giving a baseline to price off of, and you must buy two other programs with it that are even worse. 

I can search for my own parts and will anyway to ensure "mph search" is correct.

I don't see a need for the "mph diagnostics " program either, if I need a program to tell me what's wrong I either have a lack of experience or the diagnostic guide won't help me because it's just the basics and lots of people shotgunning parts on there therefore the most likely repair they show is shotgun your parts. Nothing pin point accurate about it.
