  1. Hi All, This Ge Top Load Washer Model# WHRE5550K2WW will not spin or agitate. The green light on the motor blinks one second on one second off (normal standby). When I put it into Service Mode, the water valves worked but when it got to the dry agitate position, there was no motor action and the green light continued to blink normal stand by. Turned the dial and it pumped water out. Turned dial to spin, and again no motor action and the green light blinked normal stand by. Is the lid switch a common problem? Is there a way to jump lid switch? Thank You Very Much, Bob Edit: Have done a bunch more reading. Gonna have to go back and do the voltage checks on the C2 connector at the motor. Should the lid switch be truck stock (cheap enough). Or are the problems with these mostly the motor/inverter.
