  1. Hello and thanks for any help in advance! My Samsung front load washing machine works fine and drains perfect spins and washes clothes but the problem is that the machine goes into spin cycle,on ALL cycles and as soon as it gets up to speed it adds more time. This will continue over and over. Please help I don't know what to do! The model is wf45k6500av/a2. Thank you so much in advance!
  2. Had some great conversations in the Appliantology Chatroom today! First, had a very interesting conversation with Brother smee about carbon monoxide, measurements, standards, production and health effects. We pulled up this excellent training presentation from GE, that demystified a lot of the confusion about CO, and looked at it together: Might make a good topic for a future Office Hours. Next, had a good conversation with Mr.Pro-- to be continued-- as we tracked down a DE1 error code on a Samsung washer he was working on. We thought we were looking at the same Fast Track but turns out not to be the case. The correct Fast Track for his model is this one: Probably shoulda taken that one to a Join.me webinar to make sure we were on the same page. Anyway, we at least established that much! We'll nail the rest of it down in a later chat. Okay, until next time-- drink beer, sleep well, get shit fixed (in that order). Hare Krishna.
  3. OUR SAMSUNG CLOTHES WASHER, WF218ANWXAA, WON'T START ON ANY CYCLE. FIRST WE PUSH THE POWER BUTTON, THE CONTROL BOARD LIGHTS UP. THEN SELECT A CYCLE, THEN PUSH START, THE MACHINE HUMS, DOOR LOCKS, THEN AFTER 10 SECONDS, HUM STOPS AND DOOR UNLOCKS. AFTER A FEW SECONDS THIS CYCLE REPEATS OVER AND OVER UNTIL EVENTUALLY NOTHING MORE HAPPENS. EACH TIME WE PUSH START, NO WATER ENTERS THE TUB, NO AGITATNG OR SPIN. JUST THE HUM. THIS PROBLEM OCCURS ALSO ON THE SPIN ONLY CYCLE. WE KNOW THE WATER IS ON. WE DIDN'T NOTICE ANY ERROR CODE.
  4. I have a SAMSUNG WASHER WF428AAL/XAC which died mid cycle leaving water in the tub. It will not restart, no power to LED panel on display board. It stalled on several occasions prior but would reset once turned off. Trying to determine if display board or rear main board may be the culprit. Outlet is live, there is power to the noise filter. There is no audible click when depressing the start switch on the display board when removed from its housing. Thanks

  11. Hi Everyone. First I want to say thank you for all the material and help I've already gotten; this is a great site. Second the reason I am posting here is to beg for a Samsung WF337AAG/XAA Service Manual. I currently have a nd error (No Drain). Thanks to this site and others I knew enough to check all the hoses and the Drain Pump. They are clear; I even took the pump apart and cleaned out even the smallest amount of "gunk." This unit was made in 2007 so there is no up front filter and the Drain Pump is also in the back.... currently easy to get to at least. Anyway, I bench tested the pump by applying 120v directly to the terminals and the pump runs like a champ. When I test the plug that connects tot he pump I don't get much in the way of voltage.. assuming I'm doing the Drain test propertly. Btw, I'm doing that by pressing "Spin + silvercare and Power" at the same time. After it displays the software version I select "Soil" My understanding is that, that should make the pump come on... it doesn't and I have no voltage down the line. SO, all this leads me to believe that I've either got an expensive PCB issue or cheap wiring issue. I would LOVE to check the pins on the board that activate the drain pump but I don't know where they are... I did find a manual that is iffy and it suggested pin1 on CN5 and Pin6 on CN10... I did find CN5 and CN10 but I'm not sure which pins are which.. that part was in Japanese. *shrug* So in conclusion please please please, oh great master please, allow me to look upon the great scroll that is the Samsung WF337AAG/XAA Service Manual. And also.. if anyone has any advice or help they could give me (especial in the way of the pin outs) I'd really appreciate the help. OH, I'm attaching a picture of the control board below! Thank you, Cory
