My GE Spectra 30" Free standing oven/range has a fluorescent bulb that shines on the cooking surface. My best friend likes to use it as a night light.
Consequently, I have to change it every December, because it burns out. This last Dec. it was flickering so I figured I was getting a warning that it was going.
Ordered a new bulb F26T8CW4. Put it in and everything was fine until March 9 when it started flickering again. So, do I have a bad bulb or is there another
component in the circuit that may be bad? I would guess there must be a ballast in there but don't know what it looks like.
