    Hi, I have a Whirlpool dryer drive motor part number 279827 which has a broken start winding. One of the four places where the two retracting springs mount has broken and the spring fell off, so the start winding will not retract as designed. I have a bad 279827 motor laying around and I wanted to know if anyone has ever replaced the start winding on one of these motors. Thanks
