  1. GE Café Dishwasher CDT828P2VS1 Problem: The control pad along the top of the door suddenly no longer registers pad presses. Instead, it displays random presses; meaning, the indicator light beneath a given selection illuminated (along with corresponding "beep"), then goes out, followed by the apparent activation of some other pad. There is no pattern. No pad responds to touch. I find only two t'shooting recommendations—neither had any effect: 1) Thoroughly clean and dry the control surface, and; 2) "Reset" the appliance by cutting power to it for [insert length of time here], then power back on. The dishwasher worked yesterday; today it behaves as described, and the dishwasher is unusable. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anecdotes-of-an-identical-experience-and-instructions-on-how-to-fix-it..?
