  1. read this. toggled the breaker and seems to be OK. Fan is running. I have cleaned the fan on the top of the oven before, about 10 years ago. Should I plan on doing that again and replacing the sail switch? Anything else that needs cleaning? Where is the sail switch in a single wall oven? Bottom left?

  3. I'm getting a low volume rapid clicking sound from the condenser fan on my Kitchenaid KSRG22FKSS05. Do I need a motor replacement or is the blade possibly hitting something? Thanks
  4. So my buddies A.C has been having problems over the past couple weeks, i'm trying to get him going for as cheap as possible. Now the system is really old, it as made in 1980 Its a GE BTN736A100A The A at the end tells the date I read online so I'm assuming its 1980.. Its hard to believe its still going. So far I have changed 2 of the 3 capacitors & the contactor. After the contactor it worked fine for a week or so, then he had more problems so I changed the 2 shot capacitors.. Now the condenser sounds fine and the air will cool but the fan will only turn on spuraticly and the unit will get very hot & it wont kick on.. But occasionaly it will kick on for a little while. A small album of the unit http://imgur.com/a/h9MjM Everything is old & they lived there 2 years and never had a tech come and look at it. I'm still new to the field, so there is a chance i'm just missing something.. I would really appreciate any help. This is an awesome site btw, its nice to have a such a knowledge bank available, espeicaly for someone new to the field like myself.
