  1. Hi all, We've been manually lighting the burners on our cooktop for some months, but due to being locked down due to COVID in Australia there's no excuse to keep putting these things off.. The problem keeps changing which has been very confusing. First the ignitors kept triggering while all burners were off. This stopped after a while but now only two out of four ignitors would trigger at all. This was manageable as they were the two burners we used most. Once the cooktop caused a mains short. I pulled the plate off and swapped positions of the cables in the spark module and found that the ignitors worked fine but only two of the ports coming out of the module were working, so I ordered a new spark module and replaced it yesterday. New module worked perfectly, all four ignitors triggering when they were supposed to, four working burners, job done! Until today while we're cooking our dinner, the ignitors start to trigger unprompted again! It's worth noting that the unprompted sparks don't seem to be random, it's a consistent spark but much less frequent than the one caused by engaging the switch, firing at perhaps 20%. I cannot check for continuity in the switches as they are fully enclosed in plastic The burners and ignitors are all clean, there's nothing stuck anywhere thats pressing a switch or anything, I'm stumped! Any advice to point me in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Lachlan
  2. We recently found a ge oven model 317b6641p001. Someone had remove the spark module. Anyone know where an inexpensive module can be gotten? Thanks.
