Happy Saturday!
We've got a LG WM2540HRA washer that is several years old. The cycle selector has stopped working so we're stuck using only the "Cotton" cycle. It would sometimes change cycles if you slowly turned it but it's finally given up the ghost. It spins fine and clicks but does not register any changes. I've pulled out the circuit board but it's filled with epoxy and appears to be a replace and not repair situation.
My guess are issues with the contacts in the selection knob but who knows... I've played with the idea of spraying some Pro Gold contact cleaner in there to see if it helps. The control board has two separate halves but looking online it appears you need to purchase both and not just the one that needs repair.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
