Samsung wf42h5000aw/a2: No power after motor pcb replacement

Recommended Posts

I do not have money for a ssrvice call.  My washer started randomly just stopping.  Eventually it threw a 3E code so I got online and figured out how to put it in test mode.  Error 3E2 was the result.

I tried all of the troubleshooting tips, and finally resorted to ordering the motor PCB, and replaced it.  Now it doesn't power on at all.  I checked the breaker, I changed the fuse in the other board, I checked all of the wire harness connections, took it all apart and did it again, unlugged it, waited, plugged it back in again and still nothing.  I'm desperate.  I'm about to put the original motor PCB back in to see if it powers up, I suspect I may have gotten a defective motor PCB (I bought it "new" off of eBay).

Please and thank you for any real help...

Update:  I replaced the original motor pcb and have power.  Now it displays no error codes at all in diagnostic mode, I'm running a test cycle now.

Well, after putting the original motor pcb back in, the thing is actually working. So I suppose, for now anyway, I don't actually need help. Thank you and I'm sorry.
