My old 1970s Wilbilt gas range finally won't keep the oven temperature (it gets too hot), and I'm researching to buy a new gas range. I was hoping not have to have a circuit board since I understand they're the first thing to go, so was looking at standard gas range GE JGBS30RETSS, the only one I could find without one.  However, the reviews say the entire range gets very hot when baking due to thin walls, the grates are dangerously slippery, and the glass window sometimes explodes!  So I understand I may be stuck with a circuit board.  My question is, can anyone offer any recommendations for a gas range that is good quality, doesn't have the problems I listed, and is dependable for many years?  Thank you for your help!
