Stumped with this Ice Maker Whirlpool French Door Model WRX735SDHV00

I'll try to summarize as best I can - I am pretty handy with repairs but this has me stumped

First issue was a non functioning door water dispenser and no ice - replaced the bivalve in the back- fixed the water issue at the door, but still no ice .  Tested ice maker , tried to jump it using  the T/N ports- no go

Ordered new ice maker , - just the top half -   and it worked - or so it seem to , but in 48 hours made about 10 cubes .  I checked fill spout for ice blockage and it was clear.

Could I have a bad replacement valve? Door panel electronics   Any other ideas , or things to check or rule out -  as the title states , I'm stumped

It is getting power or it would not work at all - at least that is my assumption?

Thanks in advance !

Check your freezer temperature, if it's not cold enough it won't make ice.

On any Whirlpool side by side with ice maker or dispenser issues, I always check first the wire harness on the freezer door lower hinge. The wires sometimes are not visibly broken but may be making intermittent contact as they can be partially broken within the sheath or within the insulation.

Good info but this is French door.

Thanks - yes French door,   what temp should freezer be at , and check the actual freezer area and not where the ice is being made?

Should be zero but I think the criteria is 10 degrees Frankenstein. Has to be consistent though, the colder it is the faster it'll make ice but it's not like it'll be in a turbo mode or anything it's like 1 or two batches(5-7 cubes) per 24-48 hours.
