GE front loader leaking GFW650SPN0SN

I have this GE front load washer GFW650SPN0SN that is about 3 or 4 yrs old. Gently used and always very very clean. It's leaking out at the soap dispenser tray, here my finger is pointed in the pic. The top 5" wide panel comes off  and I've taken the tray out and cleaned soap residue, mold, etc and its still leaking. It leaks about 1/4 cup of water each load, maybe less. This weak I pulled the tray out and cleaned everything really good and put a folded up piece of aluminum foil over the tray dispenser hole. No leaks at all. A new soap dispenser is $125 but I'm thinking it could be the hole or enclosure the tray goes in to? Most things that leak can be sealed up with a little silicone. The tray seems to fit tight. Any help is appreciated.
