Joe B, Stoughton Appliance Repair Posted September 21, 2023 Author Posted September 21, 2023 Thanks gentlemen. The burned PCB bulletin looks like there are several checks and possible parts. Thanks again!
Joe B, Stoughton Appliance Repair Posted September 21, 2023 Author Posted September 21, 2023 Thanks. Failed (burned) Main PCB. PCB burned and water damaged. Suspect water caused by condensation from thin ceiling insulation combined with nearby “Door Cooling +” ducting, or upper, rear fresh food ducting. PCB out of stock from LG. Expect 10-14days. Customer opting not to repair. Expect to see this again. Bring a step-ladder. It’s all top service.
Vance R Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Just seen the title of the bulletin when downloading the service manual. Thought it maybe helpful.
