Hello everyone, I have a GE GDT655SSJ0SS that won't drain. I've confirmed the entire path from the filter to the end of the drain tube is clear. When I start the pump manually, it takes 8 to 10 cycles to completely drain it. And when it does drain, it's not at what I would consider full force. I put water in the bottom of the thing and had just a short section of drain tube attached to the pump. It does come out but not with any force. More like a faucet that's been left on, just trickling. I held the pump in my hand with no hoses on it and kicked it on. The impeller does move freely, there isn't anything keeping if from spinning and nothing rattling in it. I'm wondering if the pump is weakened and can't push the water "uphill" to the drain pipe under the sink (ours doesn't connect to the disposal). Before I throw $100 at it for a new pump are there any other trouble shooting steps I should take?

Make sure your drain hose is installed properly per the installation manual . You can go to searspartsdirect.com and put in your model number and get a pdf of your manual.  If it's installed correctly , then i would check to make sure there isn't any grease build up inside the hose wall's.

It sounds like your pump is bad and the force of the propeller's isn't strong enough to push the water out.

Other than that i think your on the right track troubleshooting wise, good luck!
