Manufacturer: Kenmore
Type of Appliance: Washer
Model Number: 796.41073310
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I get an LE error checked the motor and makes this grinding noise, I know its the the bearing I’m hearing.  Most of the time it’s a hall sensor issue or broken wire, insufficient voltage goin into the motor.  Did not see broken wire hall sensor is replaced and I need to know voltage on the motor, its jumping everywhere before the LE error pops up.  Windings ohms at 11.5 all three leads.

wondering if you fixed this got a call back on an LG with this error code and complaint of noisy spin.

It’s strange it ended up to be the statue and rotor.  Even thought resistance check passed.  Most common reaper I do is the hall sensor or the harness.  Again if the resistance check passed then no crack in the magnet I always assumed motor is good.

Did you have rust on the stator? I did when you checked the hall sensor did you measure the resistance?

On the harness, I did a continuity check on each wire but on examination, the yellow wire was smashed up and slightly coming through the casing.
