Miele G2470 SCvi dishwasher. fully operable but leaking

hi, small puddles appeared on the floor. watched unit during next program:  saw a drip from the edge of the drippan.  Noted screw loose on floor.  dislodged unit.  screw is from drain pan allowing the pan to hang at an angle and drain onto the floor without raising the float and shutting down.

ok, so where exactly is the leak?  run another program with unit dislodged, drain pan off and left side panel off.  Noted nearly immediate dripping from the supply hose where it connects to the washer. Suspected as much because that clip holding the hose was the only thing that didn't look brand new.  I get the feeling this is a problem occurring for a while (residue in the drain pan and amount of discoloration on the hose clip.) and now its getting worse.

Tried another program:   Maybe not the supply hose.  Maybe it is too, however above that cx are two solenoids.  The upper one leaks quite happily, apparently from the meet of inlet mixer and the solenoid.  the supply hose connection is pretty much directly below those solenoids.

I attached two pics one of my unit (with a pointer to the leak location)   and one from the miele parts catalog identifiying the part.

since the unit is working without interruption I'm presuming the solenoid is operable -- but aging or (more likely?) its just an O-ring.  the parts catalog has no o-rings listed. I do hope the solenoid (~90$) comes with its own o-ring -- and you don't need to replace the entire inlet mixer to get the o-ring (~400$+) according to the catalog.

I've replaced the supply line twice so I've some experience with getting into this unit -- but getting at that solenoid for replacement seems like an involved amount of dis-assembly.

Anybody ever work on this style of mixer/Miele and have any guidance or insight? thanks.
