Kenmore Updated LG compressor service bulletin needed

I need to see the service bulletin that is Kenmore branded specifically for this model related to replacing the compressor with the new version FLS075, and updating the firmware.  It should work across all LG fridges but I heard mention of certain older models of fridges where you cannot update the firmware to match the new compressor.  I replaced the compressor with a new one, but 3 days later it stopped running with a PCB / inverter error 7 indicating the inverter is bad and needs to be replaced.  Just want to verify that this software update was appropriate for this model.

Nothing I can find. The refrig does take the universal compressor TCA38151706.  You kinda have the info backwards - when install the universal compressor the board does need to be update. Some old board don't have the correct firmware to take the update.  So for those older boards you have to get a new board with the correct firmware and update that board.
