EIMGD55IIW5 Electrolux Dryer trips GFCI outlet

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

My Electrolux Dryer keeps tripping the GFCI outlet but does not trip circuit breaker. I normally have both the washing machine and dryer plugged into the same outlet. 1st thing I did was replace the GFCI outlet. New outlet also tripped (circuit breaker did not). Ran washing machine as only appliance plugged into GFCI outlet, no problems. Ran only dryer, outlet tripped circuit breaker OK. Plugged dryer into normal outlet and it runs fine without tripping the circuit breaker for that outlet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
