Frigidaire LFHG2251TF Ice Maker dies after replacing filter

I have never replaced the filter on my 4 year old refrigerator.  It only makes a few ice cubes and we have good tasting water, so I figured it didn't matter.   But I bought a new filter and replaced it.  It made maybe 5 batches of cubes and then stopped.  I put the original back in, but it still does nothing.  Any advice on this?  Thanks

How is the temperature in the freezer? should be at 0f if your getting slightly higher temps 14f and up your ice maker will cut off

It's possible you have a bad solenoid on your water valve or the water filter has frozen over.

The  temperature is about 0.

The water filter is far from the freezer, but just for fun I let the whole thing go to room temperature and back down.  It still doesn't work.
