Samsung Control panel out after element replacement

Hi! First post here. And I need some help. Just replaced the heating element and belt in my Samsung (DV219AEW/XAA ) dryer. (Done this before without issue) Reassembled the dryer and plugged it in. Heard friendly chime but control panel is dark and buttons are unresponsive. And can’t figure out why. I bought an OEM element. The fuse, thermostat and new element look fine on ohm meter. I must have banged up reassembly somehow. The black and white control panel harnesses had to be pulled out of the control panel during disassembly ( There was no plug/socket mid-cable). Is it possible to plug these things in upside down? What is the most likely reason for a dark control panel after a DIY assault on Samsung dryer by an amateur?

Go back in, check all connections between the UI and the main control.

Thank you so much for encouraging me to go back and check yet again, Daniel A. I opened the control panel as matter of last resort and found a loose harness hidden inside. It must not have been clipped down in the factory and come completely apart when I removed it. Control panel and new element is working well now.

Very pleased to hear it was as simple as that!
