Does anyone know if removing the inverter box and replace it with a Supco hard start kit would allow the pump to run as a method of testing it?

I'm not exactly sure what the inverter does for the system or what it controls.

Since this site is heavily focused on helping people understand things and most people do that here maybe you could offer some insight rather than arrogance.

My idea of temporarily connecting a hard start was from the standpoint that I guessed the compressor is the same that would be used on a non-inverter style refrigerator.  I could be wrong but I'm interested to know if I am.

When I said I didn't understand what the inverter does for the system I meant I'm not sure if it controls lights and temperature readings. Clearly it starts the compressor, but is it the only way to start the compressor?
