Washer was working fine and it was working and power outage.  When I turned washer on set it to normal and all buttons started blinking.   I shut it off…. Turned back on got all set ..it started to fill then shut off..   even with the door open it wud come on and off…

I unplugged it.    I reset at circuit board..

??

Question I have..  Does the door have any mechanism involved in any of the operation of the washer.

please help

This is not a reply.  Addition to info.  Error code is E41

The Frigidaire Affinity Washer Error E41 is a door lock error. It means the primary control thinks the door is open. If the door is closed and this error persists, then in most cases, you will need to replace the door lock assembly on the washer. Sometimes this error can be caused by the control board, but it’s more common for the door lock assembly to have failed than the control board.

Locate the J2 plug on the console control board and measure voltage from the black wire to the ground with power on. If there are 0 volts, replace the door lock assembly if there is 110/120 VAC replace the control board.

if you put the model number it would help to know if the above would work.

Here's the secret information that's held deep in a bunker of this otherwise unassuming building.

I suggest printing this, read all of the instruction portion and then run test 7.
