Far field Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 I don’t understand “coil shorting” as a best describtion of the trouble. Is this to mean intermittent shorting or the coil burns out or what exactly. We have to assume a lot. If this trouble is that it’s intermittent it could be the coil but I’m more aptly convinced to eliminate all else. Age of the part? Type of operation the Solonoid coil / valve / operator does. an amp draw and voltage at that time would also help as well as the wattage and resistance of the coil. I agree that it's vague, but that's the title Bosch gave for the bulletin, so I figured I would preserve it.
