I assume it’s direct drive from what I see.  The motor seems to be trying, but not engaging the drum. Bad bearings? Fouled gear teeth? …? It’s not the sound of bad bearings that I know since usually with that the thing spins some.  Or maybe the bearings have flat-out seized up, locking the drum?

Note the drum spins freely by hand, almost too freely.  It's like the teeth are worn on the rotor, but those teeth are metal, and I suspect if that's the issue then both the rotor and the spindle attached to the tub assembly will be worn?  Anyway, hoping somebody sees this behavior in the video and says it's tell-tale symptomatic for _____________.

The rotor has torn off from the cuff that connects to the spindle on the drum. Ever seen that?
