Looks like a straightforward job. Disassemble the entire machine in a huge shop. Instal belt. Rebuild machine from scratch......

Actually, Had this done years ago, I remember the guys had to lift the drum a bit to get the belt on. Anyone done this job? Hate to toss a machine for just a belt

YouTube video makes it look less than desirable.  It's doable, just not easy like less technical models

So, Pinnacle Parts put up a video on how to do a belt. There is a special tool that holds the shaft of the blower motor so you don't bend it when putting the belt on.  I don't see this noted in any 712 manuals. Any ideas?

Here is the current video, but appears to be for more recent models.
